​What will the weather be like?

​

The weather during January in Joburg is normally lovely and warm 🌞 We will however check the weather forecast closer to the time, to ensure we can cater for whatever gets thrown at us! 

 

What should I wear?

​

The dress code is summer smart-casual.

Eg For Men: Suit pants or chinos and open collared shirt (Suit jackets are optional).
Eg For ladies: Semi-formal short/long cocktail dresses or evening wear.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

​

The ceremony and canape area are both on grass and the venue is terraced with rocky outcrops so we would recommend not wearing very high heels or stilettos but rather opt for comfy shoes/sandals with block heels - we would hate to have any ankle injuries!

Where should I park?

​

There is very limited parking available so please uber to the venue and pre-arrange parking with us should you want to drive your car there.

 

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

​

Our wedding ceremony is outdoors in the rose garden, canapes are outside under the trees and our reception will be under cover in a tent on the tennis court.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

​

Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them using our QR code that you'll be able to scan at the wedding.  However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.

Are kids welcome?

​

Regrettably the venue is not child friendly with lots of open water and rocky outcrops - unless immediate family, children are not invited to the wedding.
